First and foremost, X-MEN : FIRST CLASS IS AWESOME! FANTABULOUS!!!:D
I mean it's so intriguing to see the past and origins of this popular marvel comic characters that's been shot into movie instalments.
I didn't know Professor X HAD HAIR when he was younger! LOL and how he became handicapped...
I of course didn't know that big bad evil Magneto was A TEAM with professor X before he became obsessed with destroying the human race! The graphics and effects are so real!

It's kinda weird watching X-men without wolverine though...

I'm seriously not such a great big fan of X-men before but I watched all the sequels and because of this sequel I'm so going to watch the rest of X-men again!
And the funniest part is when Jian zhi jumped out of his seat while laughing hysterically in the middle! HAHA:D

Tonight's movie: Dylan Dog: dead of night!
A private investigator, Dylan is the only one amongst the living who knows the secret of the existence of the undead. He was appointed to be an impartial investigator when one of their own crosses the line. Anyway, he was retired after his fiancee was killed by vampires and he killed a bunch of the vampire elders... But he got back into business after one of his client, Elizebeth's father and his close friend,( who happen to be killed by a vampire so he became a zombie) were killed by the undead. He found out that the vampires and a bunch of monster hunters were after a cross called the heart or something... This heart can unleash a monster so powerful that it can wipe out all the undead, including vampires, werewolves, zombies etc.
It was not long after Dylan was finally gonna let go of his past and move on because of Elizabeth, he found out the truth. Elizabeth is a monster hunter, so is her father...she hired Dylan on her father's case cos she knows he will be able to find the heart for her... But he was too late in realizing the truth, by then Elizabeth has already unleashed the beast. And Dylan is no match for it. What she failed to realize is the beast will not obey its master but rather it will kill anyone or anything in its way including its master!
With the arrival of reinforcements from werewolves, Elizabeth was killed and along with her death, the beast was destroyed too.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES IS AWESOME! :D
It's is these kinda movies that forms every fibre of my being thats why I can even say movies can be the reason for my existence! :)
It's absolutely fascinating to see how the producer portrayed the various characters in their twisted personalities and the breakthrough in stereotyped characters! Like how mermiads in all our minds are supposedly to be elegant, ravishing beauty, innocent and good. But in pirates, mermaids are vicious, they'll lure sailors with their beauty and drag them into the deep waters to mate then devoured! Gross! Totally crashed my angelic impression of mermaids...
Nevertheless, it's always refreshing to see new interpretations on mythical creatures:) just like I love stephenie meyer's version of vampires over any other versions... :D and of course best part of the show is Johnny depp!:) he's sooo humorous! Haha made me laugh like hell! And the action is soooo thrilling! Great job for this installment!:)
Well, there's really nothing to much summarize for such action/adventure movie... Everyone's after the Fountain of Youth like the English, Spanish, Pirates... Then comes the escape from the gallows (always occur at the start of every installment I realized...), ambush, hilarious moments, fights, threats, skeletons, MOVING skeletons, bombing of ships, LOTS of pirate talk (and frankly speaking, if it wasn't for the subtitles, I'll NEVER understand what they're saying:P), monkey (lol from Black Pearl! I can easily mistake it as the main lead instead of Johnny depp HAHA:D) <3 the plot nevertheless:)

Anyway, today's the second time we went to the movies together as one big family with uncle, auntie and gor:) perhaps in time, we will go back to when the conflict hadnt destroyed the ties between mummy and uncle... Perhaps one day the movies will stitch back the wounds of the past and allow us to live together harmoniously just like in the past... I'm elated that mummy and uncle's relationship has finally made some improvements after all these years!:):)

MAY FRIDAY 13TH!
Time seemed to have passed really fast when I adopted this new habit at work-watching charmed episodes:P I seriously dunno why I'll nv get tired of charmed:D even though I've watched it over and over again... That's why charmed always lived up to "it's my favorite tv-series ever" name:) haha:D

Anyway, today work is as usual but something really really rare happened! Something that didn't occurred since the break of dawn! Exaggerating:P lol:D but god know when's actually the last time MY ENTIRE FAMILY WENT OUT FOR MOVIE??? like never! Family of course included uncle's family of four plus my family of three without ah Ma cos she doesn't watch movies... Somehow after all these years of conflict b/w mummy and uncle have finally let go of some of their grudges and start to live harmoniously:) starting with movies together then the batam trip coming up in June! I'm so excited!:) I'm really glad there's finally peace in the family:):):)

Oh ya main point is movie of the week is THE PRIEST.
Even though Sis has been psychoing me that its not nice due to her friends' reviews but I didn't let her get to me... and I'm glad I did cos it's TOTALLY MY TYPE OF MOVIE:) with all that vampires and bloody scenes=my cup of tea!:P
great plot:D and suspected it to be from a novel cos obviously there's more background to it then just what they show on the big screen...
Definitely gotta have a sequel! At least I think there'll be... Hopefully:)

It's about this world where two races exist- Man and vampires. Vampires are too strong so they over-run the humans in the war times and endangering humans retreat behind the walls of the "church" which could protect them.
Then this new group of ppl with special abilities formed the "priests" who are faster and stronger than humans and can defeat the vamps.
These priests managed to annihilate most of the vamps or so they thought they did. And they caught the vamps and kept them locked up in a facility.
What they didn't expect is that one of the priest who was dragged away by the vamps in their den did not die but he was created as a new race by the Queen vampire's blood-human vampires. Lets just call him thr evil priest la... Stronger, faster but still have his human face.

Anyway, the priest's (Idk what the main lead's name is cos they keep calling him priest) daughter, lucy was abducted by vamps (it sounds weird but the daughter was born before he became priest) so he got back into his job to hunt down the vamps and rescue Lucy, with the help of her bf(what's his name? Too focused on the action that I dun rmb any of their names:P but I know that the bf is the vampire, James who tried to kill Bella in twilight! Just can't get enough of vamps I guess haha:D ) and with the assistance of another female priest...

The new army of vamps travelled around in a dark train with no windows to shield them from the sunlight and their destination was to destroy the remaining humans whose hiding behind the walls of the "church"... Anyways , the heroes saved the damsel in distress(Lucy) and crash the train b4 it can reach the city.

I think I'll nv like the "church" city cos they're soooo bounded by the so-called oath "to defy the church is to defy god" or something like that... And they all lived like prisoners! With no sunlight! How ironic for humans to live without sunlight when vamps are now roaming in the day in TRAINS! lol:D

Totally like this show so I can't wait for the next installment!:) hopefully there is another sequel... Though it still cannot beat my twilight saga's first place but still can make it amongst the top 20 of movies I've watched in the past 6 months:P if only it can be a little longer so that they can explain more stuff in detail... That would've been perfect!:)

OMG! I just finished watching the season finale of Fringe Season 3 and OMG!
What kinda cliff-hanging, and idiot abrupt ending is this?!

On one hand, I'm seriously lost now since i've been chasing after every single episode of Fringe online every week and now it ended... :(
On the other hand, the mysterious ending made me so curious on what happens next but i have to wait at least a year or so to see season 4 i suppose cos they havent even started shooting the next season! This is sooooo painful!
AND I'm devastated that the entire world DO NOT REMEMBER PETER BISHOP A.K.A MALE LEAD ANYMORE COS THEIR BRAINS HAVE BEEN CLEANED UP BY THE WATCHERS (i think...) AND THEY END THIS SEASON LIKE THAT!? WHO CAN ACCEPT SUCH ENDING???

Mothers' Day celebration @ Tampines One: Screwed up!
Accidentally pissed sis off and totally got into a heated argument and cried...
Cursed myself for making that mistake---SUPER REGRET!!! HATE MYSELF AND MY BIG MOUTH! guess sis is not gonna forgive me easily... im prepared to be drowned in my sorrow and 愧疚感 (guilt) for another two weeks at least...:'(

Materials Science & Engineering Tea Session @ Stamford Hotel: Ok la... not that screwed up for this event... just a really really bad morning:(
Went to the tea session with mummy, shenglin and the still angry sis...
Stayed until 4 plus going 5 eating soooo much and asked questions...

Movie of the week: The Roommate! @ Iluma with sis, mummy and shenglin
It is rated as psychotic thriller but i feel Black Swan was a much better production of that genre... but the story plot is really creepy...

It's abt a girl named Sara Mathews who just got into college and she got to know a new friend-cum-roommate, Rebecca. So they got to spend lots of quality time together and Rebecca grew really fond of Sara.
But what Sara didn't realize is that Rebecca had some mental disorder (which i dunno how to spell it out... too chim...)so Rebecca liked Sara so much to the point that she was obsessed with Sara and really possessive!
That's when Rebecca went around to harass another close friend of Sara, Tracy who loves to drag Sara along for their all-time favourite past-time: clubbing. and when i say harass is REALLY scary kinda harass---she ripped her belly ring off and warned her if she were to continue to be "bad influence" for Sara she'll kill her!
She even got Sara's professor (who sexually harassed Sara) fired, killed Sara's ex-boyfriend, her kitten, kidnapped her another lesbian close friend, and almost killed Sara and her present boyfriend...
anyway, eventually Sara found out the truth and killed Rebecca out of self-defense...

What kinda surprised me though is that it starred some of the Vampire Diaries actresses!:) Like Elena Gilbert in VD is the "ex-target" of Rebecca's obsession in The Roommate and Bonnie in VD is Kim, Tracy's roommate.

It was just yesterday that i was soooooo devastated after watching finish the latest episode of Vampire Diaries Season 2... it's just so sad to see that after all that Elena and Stefan and friends tried to prevent the sacrifice from succeeding and kill Clause, they failed because STUPID ELEAZAR DID NOT HONOUR HIS PROMISE! EVIL! PURE EVIL!!!
Now, the good guys lost JENNA (who turned into a vampire for like 10 minutes or so then got killed by Clause...it's so sad that i cried my heart out when she died... she's innocent and she only found out abt this whole vampire-world thing like less than 30 minutes ago..), JOHN (who sacrificed himself to save his daughter, Elena from coming back to life as a vampire) and JEWS (an innocent good werewolf who was sacrificed in the ritual...) and of course DAMON is as good as dead (i suppose) since he was bitten by a werewolf and a wolf bite on a vampire has no cure...
AND after allll this! STUPID CLAUSE DID NOT DIE AS PLANNED AND GOT AWAY SCOTT-FREE WITH MORE POWER THAN EVER!!! BOO! i hope there's a big twist for season finale next week...:)

Jealous? Envious? Angry?

So much for friendship... So much for united ex-co... So much for the two years we've spent together...
I've nv felt very much part of the ex-co in the first place.... I dunno know why I'm so upset abt the rest of the ex-co always going out, meeting up and stuff so often and yet none of them includes me... It's just sad that everytime they go out, they gave up on asking me altogether... They used to try to engage me too in the past... But as usual, there's nothing I can do abt it since mum's rules apparently is the highest priority... Now, they just give up entirely to ask me... Just wish that they'll still think of me as part of the ex-co and even better treat me like any other good friends, just like how they treat the rest of the ex-co... It's just my wishful thinking I guess...

Now then I realize that I can nv be the number one friend on anyone's friends list... Cos no one can let loose themselves around me... according to my observation... The atmosphere around me is almost always very solemn and no fun at all:( just wish I can make myself more AVAILABLE to bond with friends and much more interesting than I am now... It's really upsetting to see how friends can smile, laugh, giggle and even do crazy and fun things around other friends while when they're with me, there's only awkward silence and boring, heavy and serious topics to talk abt...

I'd say today's really a special day!:)
In the morning, when we sent Sis to go to school for exam, mummy and I participated in the FM100.3 on air contest AND I WON THE MOVIE TICKETS TO WATCH SOME CHINA SHOW! BUT WHO CARES! I WAS THRILLED TO HEAR MY NAME ON AIR!!!:)
Anyway, that's the first thing that make my day...

Next, of course, today is the last day of the month, THE best thing will be PAYDAY!:) just banked in the cheque today and thinking that my bank account balance is gonna increase, nothing can make me sad!:)

Following that, today Sis and I made a biggest decision AND IT'S TO DYE OUR HAIR!!!!:):):)
I'm super happy how it turn out to be like... Something brownish-red or reddish-brown... Though we chose the same colour but the stylist felt that I suit red a lot more so she made mine slightly redder and it's cool!:)
It's a great change:) I mean, we've sticked to this boring hairstyle for years and I think having a change is not a bad thing:) So this is the new me:D

And of course, what can really ends the day perfectly is a... MOVIE!
Today's movie is THOR. We actually bought the normal tickets but somehow they gave us the 3D one which I have no idea if they charged us more for that but we didn't argue with them since it's so troublesome... First of all, the graphics is AWESOME!:) sound effects so good that i can feel the chair tremble! Haha:D plot is not bad and quite creative:) can be even better if there's a happy ending of course... I just have a fetish for happy endings cos there's none in reailty... Direct and sad but that's the truth.

Can't really say much abt the details cos the stuff they mentioned in the show is simply IMPOSSIBLE to spell out and chim unless I type out in Chinese as shown in the subs but I'm just too lazy to do it :P
Anyway, it's abt this world in the galaxy called esgard or something... Which is what we call heaven I supposed With gods and stuff.. And an enemy "realm" with inhabitants called the frost giants.. Then thor is the god of thunder, son of odin ( not sure of the spelling:P), heir to the throne of this "realm". Thor, being arrogant and naive into thinking that being king is to seek out war with the enemy and eliminate them to protect his ppl, was banished to earth after igniting a war with the frost giants. Here comes the usual plot, Thor met with Jane, a mortal on earth during his exile when he was powerless and mortal. They fell in love like any other plot.
But Thor would nv imagine his little brother (who's actually the son of the frost giant king) wanted to usurp the throne to prove to odin he can be an equal to Thor. In the process of saving the annihilation of the frost giants by his brother, Thor cut away the bifrost (a rainbow bridge, a gateway to other "realms" including earth. And the story ended with Jane and Thor continue searching for each other... So sad... I think they dun end up together...

Anyways, gotta go watch fringe online now... :)

Mummy just said NO again for me to go out with my colleagues for movie:( sad... We've been planning this for a week and even worked out all the details then she come and say no:( I feel so bad for raising the hopes than crushing them now...

You know what? Since my first impression for all ppl is that I'm an unfriendly person, I should just go with the flow. From now on, I shall just be super mean to everyone so that no one will ask me out ever again and then ta-da! PROBLEM SOLVED! No more asking, pleading for mummy's permission to go out. Forever and ever with the family, stuck in this cage with all I need to spend the rest of my life. If that's what she wants, I shall just proceed with the plan and start my miserable, already pathetic life...

Second movie of the week: Drive Angry.
This show is rated M18 but I seriously think it's more like R21:P
Most M18 shows have the element of violence or gore or sexual scenes but this one has ALL THREE!!! LOL
I mean they actually show ppl's faces, hands, legs and heads been blown off! And obscenely expose lots of nudity like woman not wearing any clothes at all! Dun get me wrong cos im not saying this movie's not good due to these, it's just the first time I saw so much vulgarities, nudity, gore and violence ALL in ONE show! Kinda amusing to meXP

Anyway, the male lead is Nicholas Cage!! Great selling point!:) I'm totally Nicholas Cage's fan:) the movie is abt him, Milton who literally broke out of hell after learning abt the tragedy that happened on his daughter in hell while in solitary. His daughter joined a cult and the cult leader, Jonah King, (who was a really sick man!) didn't want to his daughter to leave the cult when she wanted to. So he killed her and even kept her bones with him at all times (omg! isnt he sick?) and kidnapped her daughter, which is Milton's granddaughter.
Milton broke outta hell to save his granddaughter who is gonna be sacrificed by Jonah king to Satan (she's just a baby for god's sake! Sick ppl!) Throughout this, Milton found this girl Piper, whom he selected to entrust his granddaughter with in future. Both of them managed to save the baby girl but Milton had to leave with the "Accountant" (Satan's right hand man, sent to bring Milton back to hell)

That's abt it I guess... I love the gore and action but I felt that the plot was too similar to the other movie Nicholas Cage acted in called Ghost Rider. So kinda slightly disappointed... Nevertheless, I still felt that it's alright though it is not as provocative as yesterday's Source Code:)

Now I'm off to watch my fringe season 3 and vampire diaries season 2!:)

anyway, it's movie review time!:)
Today's movie is Source Code.
Seriously, this show totally reminds me of Inception. Cos it's really deep...
it's abt this soldier named Captain Stevens who died in a battle but part of his brain is still active. Just so happens, his body size, gender and brain waves are able to match with a man named Sean who was on a train that exploded due to a terrorist attack... and a second attack is imminent... so the government used Captain Stevens' body for an experiment called the Source Code. A Computer Program that enables Captain Stevens to cross over into Sean's body for 8 mins before he died into another reality created by the Source Code...
Throughout the whole experiment, Captain Stevens is unaware that he was dead. So he kept going back into Sean's body to find out who's the bomber as well as the truth abt this "mission assigned to him".
Eventually, after going back N times, Captain Stevens finally found out the identity of the bomber and even discovered the way to prevent the bomb from going off.
In the end, the police managed to arrest the bomber and prevented the second attack in this reality. Captain Stevens requested to terminate the life support in this reality and he continues to live on in the alternate reality as Sean.

At least this is what i interpreted from the ending:) HAHA:D
It's really an excellent plot! The way they created this alternate reality using a dead man and through it, getting clues from the identical, yet not entirely the same kinda situations each time he goes back... No regret watching it! :)
AND it totally made my happy day even HAPPIER!:)

Just finished watching SCREAM 4!
It's SUPER AWESOME!!!
I'm seriously not a great fan of scream b4 this cos I rmb the first one just freaked me out so much that I'm even scared to go to the public toilet alone! But this one is different...
We chose to watch this one out of desperation and spontaneity cos there's no other shows to watch... So we didn't expected it to be so good:)
Anyway, plot was really unpredictable even for a movie maniac for me! Ive seen countless gore, horror, detective shows that I have the ability to predict the killer most of the time... But for scream 4, I really have zero clues abt the real killer and have been misled to think another person as the killer from the start... This is what makes this show so unique!:)
Another thing is that the casting is really good too! No one can ever anticipate that the actress who became famous because of Nancy drew as a detective can be the evil killer in this movie... The presumption that she's the good, innocent victim is too deep-rooted for us to even suspect for the slightest bit!
Of course, I love the creepy part in the beginning where there's a movie inside a movie that's also inside a movie part! Totally cool!
It's a nice combination of humor and fear in the movie that I can feel the terror and at the same time, laugh at some parts:)
And most of all, I LOVE ALL THE BLOOD!!!:):):) HAHA SICK! And ive been watching happy tree friends too! Dunno why ive this sick urge to watch gorey stuff these few days... LOL:D

Okay this is a post specially dedicated to my beloved whackies member, Vannie:) who asked for a review on slam dunk by jay Chou that just ended on channel 8. Haha
Here goes... The show on the overall is really lame, I mean to the extent of ridiculous! Nevertheless, it's still hilarious:) nice entertainment:)
It's abt jay chou whose starring as 方世杰. He was an orphan who grew up in a 功夫学校. But one day he bumped into a old man that saw his talent in basketball and wanted to use his talent to make money. So he started publishing and advertising abt him playing basketball to find his parents. This gimmick was so attractive that all media became interested in him. He became famous obviously and he joined the first university's basketball team. With his special talent to score regardless of any distance from the goal, and two other excellent players in the team they ruled the basketball court. Until they met their match at the National Championship from a rival team which has a really wealthy man as sponsor and plays dirty tricks on court to win. Despite the despicable tricks the rival team put on, the First university won with 世杰's outrageous 轻功 and ability to turn back time. Okay this part is so ridiculous that I can't even put words to explain... Main point: the good guys won and jay Chou finally found his parents who happens to be a famous tycoon. But jay Chou did not go with him and stayed in
First university to play basketball and he got his girl.

Overall, ridiculous but hilarious. Romantic part so minimal that I didn't even think abt him gonna get the girl I'm the end. I still prefer 不能说的秘密 out of all jay Chou's shows cos that's the only one that actually moved me and let me feel that the plot means something... The rest like green Hornet, slam dunk are seriously lame even if it's funny...

What a tiring day!
Today we spent 4 hours in the recording studio for the album! And I totally didn't expect it to be soooo tiring! Initially, I tot recording two songs should be fast and really easy and fun to sing too... But it's totally different from my expectations! We stood there, singing for 2 hours for each song that is only one page, plus keep repeating the same few phrases until we can get all of our voices blend together and singing with the same tone, timing and feel... But we got kicked out due to the next session for recording is up so we had to rush to wrap up the last part so it may not be as perfect for the last phrase...
Anyway, it's really a great experience, though it's just recording some weird china song that few people know but still it was fun;)

Movie of the week: Limitless.
As the name suggests, it's abt breaking boundaries. It's abt this writer called Eddie Morra. He has reached the bottleneck of his writing of a book that he had a contract with a publication. Then he met his ex-brother-in-law on the streets who offered to help him by introducing him to this drug called NZT. This drug will enable one to maximize the capacity of one's brains which a normal person could only access 20% of it. Eddie took the drug and became really clear of everything. Quote:"I was blind but now I see." was really a literal way of expressing what he was feeling... NZT made him smart, he can suddenly access to memories that are deeply buried inside his brain, every article and book that he read, every info he came across became very useful knowledge to him now, organized and ready for him to use anywhere, anytime.
Eddie made used of this advantage to finish his book overnight! At the same time, when he asked his ex-bro-in-law for more drugs, he found him dead in his apartment. But he found a big packet of NZT so he kept the stash of NZT along with a stack of money and started to iwork in a stock company and became the greatest, smartest, best stock broker in town. Even the most famous, successful businessman, van something loom (forgot his name:P) wanted to work with him or hire him...

But of course No one can lead a life as glamourous and perfect consequences. The heavy dosage of NZT made Eddie started to develop a heavy reliance on the drug. Just like taking usual drugs, it has withdrawal symptoms. So if Eddie adruptly stopped the NZT consumption, he'll die. Anyway, lots of drama in the middle then he ends up becoming a senator and he claims to have gotten of the drug yet he's still super smart. So the real question in the end is did he really quit the NZT and became really smart after working hard or did he continue to consume NZT at a moderate rate?

Really cool show! Quite futuristic feeling:) I like! I love the effects in the show! The way they shoot it it's like we are experiencing these together with the actor! Really interesting! It'll be cool is Sis can make such movies in the future too! And it's meaningful too... Many scientists have been trying all means to come up with a way to allow people to make 100% use of our brains too isn't it? So this just depicts one of the million scenarios that can happen if they succeed...

Omg! News has been getting better and better... right... It seems like i may only get the reply for my application to NUS by May!!! OMG!!! Seriously??? I'm soooo worried everyday that i can't get into NUS that i even dreamt of receiving the NUS parcel in my sleep! There's seriously NO WAY that i can take the wait till MAY!!! I just hope that they'll reply sooner than later, rather than letting us waiting like some moron waiting by the post everyday, wishing to see that damn envelop....

haiz... gotta get back to work now... seriously no life nowadays... i can't believe it myself too that my SMS that is long enough to call a convo for the past few weeks has been only to and from my mum, cousin, and sis! WTH!

I wonder What's worse, scenario 1 or 2?
Scenario 1: Someone you like appears in front of you everyday, but he/she ignores you while other people, even close friends tease you and spread that you like him/her. And even after quite some time when you've finally gotten over this crush, ppl still keep harping on it, rubbing salt into your wounds.
Scenario 2: Someone you like appears in front of you almost everyday, he/she is very friendly to you and you two always SMS with each other, even study alone together multiples times, while other people even close friends tease you and spread rumors abt the relationship between you two. Yet, you can't admit that you like him/her due to some reasons so you gotta keep on denying till the end and hope that there'll be a day that you'll finally get over this crush.

Okay I guess today's a record breaking day! Cos first time that I wrote three post a day and all in different mood and tone!

Movie of the week: Sanctum
Excellent production by James Cameron again:) it's really exciting:).
It's abt this group of ppl who are Exploring the greatest cave of all times but one storm made the exit blocked, trapping them in the cave and they have very little time to find a way out b4 the cave is flooded and they have limited food supplies and resources to last them for a few days... With lots of obstacles along the way, they lose their partners one by one... Till they're close to the exit, they were only left with three. Joshua and his dad, a really experienced and determined cave explorer (dunno the correct term for it:P) and last of all, Carl, a really lousy pork who is selfish and super annoying and will sacrifice anyone to save himself. He held a grudge on josh's father due to the death of his gf, victoria (which is caused by carl himself!) and carl attacked josh's father and killed him. Anyway lots of drama in the middle then the only one survived is joshua, obviously...

This show is great for ppl who like the thrilling feel but super bad for ppl who are claustrophobic! Haha:D cos most of the scenes are in really small and narrow spaces... Anyway to think in another perspective, ironically, if it wasn't for carl who killed josh's father, and swa
Away himself and ends up drowning himself, Joshua and his dad may be both dead... Cos when Josh escaped he had barely enough oxygen for himself so if his dad wasn't dead in the cave, they'll both be dead in the end...

MORNING: MOOD SUPER BAD AND HURT!

Sometimes I feel that I'll be better off not born... And this family will be better off without me... Cos it seems like I'm always causing all sorts of trouble for them...making them angry...And according to both mummy and ah Ma, apparently they feel like they're our slaves.. Since it's like this then why have us in the first place? I just wish that 当年when mummy was pregnant with me, she should have had a miscarriage... I shouldn't have been born... Since she doesn't trust me for the tiniest bit, and find it almost impossible to depend on me...That's why she take it upon herself to do everything... I didn't say this it was her who said all these out loud... That she's better off on her own, depending and trusting no one but herself... What is the point in maintaining this mother-daughter relationship if there's no mutual trust?

To make matters worse, now not only rachelle chan received acceptance letter from nus le, even Jia hong jiu jiu also received le... Does that mean there's no hope for me? Am I not good enough for nus? And does that mean I'm not good enough for this family as well? Everyone in this family have a purpose in life, or at least something they're good at... But not me... I dunno what I wanna do in future and I dun have anything I'm good at... Ah Ma is good at all domestic stuff, mummy is good at what she does at work and good at solving problems we face in life, Sis is good at all artsy fartsy stuff and me---- nothing... I'm just nothing...

FRIDAY NIGHT-APRIL FOOL A.K.A BEIBEI'S BIRTHDAY

I really enjoyed myself today celebrating bei bei's birthday:)
We went to Clarke quay which is damn hot and freaking stinky cos lots of ang moh smoking... But I tolerated it cos it's the first time I've been there with my friends... First time eating dinner outside with friends:) okay maybe not entirely the first... But it's really fun! Though I have so many topics that I couldnt blend in and can just listen to them talk abt... Like basic theory test or final theory test for driving, bei er's new pet dog, traveling stuff... Seriously none of it I can really talk to them abt... I nv learn driving nor the theory cos gotta wait for Sis to pass first for her ego, second for financial reasons... Next I dun own a pet and will nv own one so cant talk abt pets either... and of course I dun travel to far far places and of course I dun travel in the middle of the year... So good that jodi, jz and bei bei have gone/are going taiwan... So they can talk abt it ... I guess I slowly lost the closeness with them after three months working.. Even though it's like that but I'm still glad that we had fun cam whoring like we used to... :)
But of course as usual, I would've enjoyed myself even better if I'm not constantly worrying abt curfew, phone calls and SMSes from mummy etc. Haiz... After that the rest went to club with the rest of the class... Which is something I won't be able to experience in another decade I suppose... I'm contented for now that she's letting go of things but somehow I feel that by the time she really lets go there won't be chances like this anymore...

Maybe I should be happy abt it..

I got the acceptance letter from ntu le... I got into my first choice...
I know i should be screaming right now cos if it were other ppl who got the acceptance letter even b4 the closing date of application, they'll be super happy... And I know it's a lot of ppl's dream to get into ntu... But that's not me... My dream is to get into nus which everyone know... I'm in such dilemma... What if nus dun accept me? What if I get into nus but not the course I wanted? What if i Have no choice but to accept ntu? Haiz... Guess I can't do anything now... Just gotta hope...

I've been wondering suddenly... Abt what's in store for me in the future? Or is there going to be one at all? Since everyone's been saying 2012 is the end of the world...
Maybe is the uni application that's been bothering everyone nowadays that triggered this...
Though I chose material science & engineering for nus and ntu, and I'm really excited to learn abt it and get into that course, I still think something is missing... Perhaps the lack of goal... In my mind when I applied for uni was that this course looks interesting and is one of the few that actually appeals to me... But I still have no idea what it does or what kind of career options is available for me after graduation... Cos everything is so vague now...

I really want to get a high paying job in future and buy my dream house with a nice balcony and stuff... Providing a life for my family that does not need to worry abt how much money We spent this month everyday and be carefree and happy at the same time... And most importantly, a job that I can love what I do in future! I dun wanna regret in future and live in agony doing what I hate in future...
But how to make sure of that? How to know what I chose is what's best for me?
I guess I'll have to wait and see and live with my decisions for now...

Omg! He's beautiful is so addictive!!! Love it when hwang tae kyung pouts, when shin woo oppa smiles gently, when Jeremi 傻傻de think that he's gay and most of all, when mi nam sings!!! Love her voice! That song "without words" is stuck in my head! RABBIT-PIG!!! sooo cute!
Okay those who nv watch the show will nv understand what I'm saying... Lol

Anyway, today's movie is Lincoln Lawyer. To be honest, initially I didn't think much abt this show so I wasn't at all excited to watch, it was mummy who insisted to watch.. But after watching, I'm glad she did! It's really very good! It's abt a lawyer, Mick, who always defend the guilty ppl and help them to go scot-free and of course, extort their money at the same time. Then he got this new case abt attempt murder and assault of a prostitute. Though the suspect, who is his client, insists that he's innocent but Mick was dubious abt it. And Mick found out the truth that his client is really the culprit and he even had committed similar crimes b4! It's kinda difficult to explain all of this show on the blog... But in the end, his client was caught and Mick became a good lawyer! Ha! Good ending!:) A vague review today cos Im off to eat crab now! Yay!!! Can't wait to watch hrs beautiful!!! :)

Movie night!!! Finally a movie in two weeks:) happy:)
Today's movie: world invasion: battle Los Angeles...
A pretty nice thriller abt alien invasion... Aside from the usual cliche invasion plot, sacrifices, heroes, the overall effects of the movie is very good:) I mean I was totally into the movie that I kept shivering while watching... Haha I rate it 4/5 in thrillers... :)

Gotta go find a part time weekend job to earn more money! Besides saving for two MacBooks, I'll still be saving for the trip to US next year for world choir games with nus choir too! Haiz... All my hard-earned money's going to be finished as soon as I enter uni:(

Throughout these years that I'm cooped up at home I've nv felt how much I missed out in my life...
But I just went to see all my friends' fb ac pics and I found out friends have all been meeting up, be it pri sch, sec sch, jc friends and I'm always not in the pic... And even if I met up with them once in a while, I just lost the closeness with them that I can't find a topic to talk to them anymore...
Then I start to wonder... Will my friends forget abt me one day? I'll just turn out to be my mum... Having a life that's solely revolves around the family... Can I live with that for my entire life when I'm such a friend-oriented person?

I feel so lost now that the results are out and I dunno what I wanna do in uni! So lost! Like I've just been dropped in the middle of the ocean just like in titanic with just a floating wooden board... I just wished I've thought of a goal sooner... I kept looking at the nus website over and over again... But all I can be sure of is that I want to get into nus but what course? The more i look at the webbie, the more confused... Now that it's time to make a decision, I just feel a vacuum of emptiness.... How? What can I do? What am I interested in? What do I want to do with my life?

After yesterday's results, I just can't stop worrying abt uni stuff... mostly for my friends... Haiz...
Just really want them to be able to get into uni as well...
Anyway, today I went to smu open house... I'm not really interested but just went there to gather info for Jia hong and kit zai..
And guess who I met? Gillian and YUKI!!! meeting Gillian is not as surprising though we nv met since sec sch but we still chat on fb.. but Ive lost contact with Yuki ever since we graduated from Ai Tong pri!!! That's 6+ plus years ago! Singapore's just really small I guess.. What's most stupid thing I did is that I didnt rmb to get her contact no!!! Lol luckily I found her on fb:) happy:)

Movie of the week: the Adjustment Bureau. It's an intriguing show. Really similar to Eagle Eye. It's abt this group of pthat think theyre angels!:P)that calls themselves Adjustment Bureau. They supposed to make sure everything in everyone's lives be according to the plan devised by this Chairman which I seriously think is God when they put it that way... This man, David, the male lead, deviated from the plan as he is not supposed to meet the girl, Elise, the female lead. But they met and fell in love. So the whole show revolves around how they got pass the obstacles created by this Bureau to be together. What's really interesting is how the way these "angels" travel- it's through doors, just that each door when turned by a person wearing their hat will end up somewhere else instead of where it's supposed to lead to... How cool is that? Lol so they eventually touched the Chairman with their love and he rewrote the stupid plan to let them be together.. A bit cliche but still kinda sweet... Haha:D

Results out today...
I was super excited for it b4 but after i gotten it back, all i can feel is disappointment once again...:(
Apparently, i always end up disappointing my mum, friends and teachers and of cos myself during major exams...
it's the same for PSLE, O levels and now A Levels...
Everybody expected i get great results, i mean not as good as 7 or 6 distinctions but at least 3 or 4 but i didnt...
2 As is NOT good enough in my opinion but what can i do abt it?
I'm doomed to be mediocre my entire life!
I know my mum pinned really high hopes for me, and so does my sis and grandma...
Cos they believed i could actually do what they can't and i can make them as proud as ever... But once again, I'm so soooorrrryyyy:'( i can't do it...
feel like crying it all out... but i'll be such a loser to feel so lousy when my clique's ppl are all worse off than me...
i wouldn't want to gloat... unlike some ppl who's not even satisfied with 6 distinctions?! i dun understand at all...
but for now, i shall be contented and move on...
since there's nothing i can do abt it, just might as well think of the future now...

Second movie of the week: I am number four:)
"there were nine of us, three are dead, I am number four" what a cool slogan for the show!
Anyways as always the male lead(who keep changes names but the latest is John smith) who acted in percy Jackson and the lightning thief (I think) is the hero of the day.

He is from another planet and he is one of the nine who survived from the destruction by another species that likes to go around decimating other planets. Unfortunately the subtitles are in Chinese so I dunno what's he's planet's name and that enemy species name in English so let's just call it planet A and THE enemy! Haha:D

Ok so John and his protector, Henri moves from state to state to run away from THE enemy, changing identity and moving houses is so common in john's life. And then after number three died, they came to Ohio, Paradise. John met a girl (who starred in Glee as Quin), Sarah whom he fell in love with. They found a boy named Sam whose father was supposed to help Planet A's survivors gather together. But his farher disappeared few years back. Then the trouble begin. THE enemy set a trap for John and kidnapped Henri who died to save John. Btw John and the rest of the planet A survivors have powers, legacies from their parents. For john, he can control light, and some sort of repelling power im not sure they had a name for his powers, kinda works for all kinda thing. So THE enemy found John but at the same time number six found him too. She is fire-resistant and also vanish into thin air in seconds as well. So together they killed all THE enemy that came after them. And they had to leave the town to find the others And kill all THE enemy b4 they overtake earth and decimate humans too! Plot is cool and sound effects is Terrific!:) 4.5/5 stars!

I really love sci-fi like this:) but what I dun like is the ambiguous ending... Gives me a feeling that it's gonna have "I am number five" kinda thing... Haha:D John left the town but the last thing he said was: "this is the first time he left a town without Henri, but it's also the first town that have a reason for him to come back to (which is obviously for Sarah cos she can't possibly just leave with him since she's defenseless in those fighting situations and can be a burden)" So does it mean they're gonna show how these ppl actually kill ALL THE enemies? Just dun understand why number six have to be the one that found him? Why not number five? Weird...

Anyway, feel sooooooooooooooo relaxed! A bit too relaxed with no troubles at all whatsoever! But gotta enjoy this kinda relaxation b4 the results day... Cos after results day, I'll gonna be busy again! With uni applications and stuff... Sian...
Why do ppl go to uni? To learn? Or to get a degree to find a job in future? Cos many times, uni grads also can't find a job in this deteriorating economy and so many has not get the chance to use what they've learnt in their own jobs, sone even work as some occupations that are totally urelated to what they learn in uni too... So what's the point?

I for one prefer to learn in uni something that I'll like and apply in my job in future... But what? And when will I discover the thing for me?

I've got a feeling~ that tonight's gonna be a good night~ that tonight's gonna be a good good night-ght~~

Half day today:) dental at 4pm... So many things happened today...
Morning had a minor quarrel with Sis but it's ok le... Thank god!
Afternoon we went to Dr Poon there for regular checkup... So sad I still have 2-3 months to go b4 I can take the braces out... But Sis can take out next next week le... I'm happy for her though:) it'll be my turn soon!

Anyway something epic happened while we're at the clinic.. There I am in the clinic waiting for my turn, and I was checking fb, I saw a friend request from David TEO!!! OMG! I got the shock of my life! Seriously.. I dun really feel anything, no hate, no love (obviously), no nothing... But just feel a little disturbed... What does he actually want?! After a decade of not contacting anyone of us, and remarrying and having a good life while we struggle to survive with repaying his debts, he just randomly added both of us on fb??? Dun tell me he wants to be friends!? I feel confused and weirded out!!! Anyway, both of us decided to ignore it...

Anyway, after that, we went Marina Bay Sands to find Jia Zheng my Lao po to skate in that fake ice skating rink with Shenglin:) the rink is super fake and oily seriously! And definitely 100% more difficult to skate than real ice! and we visited jz's workplace and saw her so-called handsome guy in her department, eugene, who happened To have a terrible first impression! Looks damn fierce but after talking to him for a while I find him ok la not that bad after all..

After which we went to illuma to eat shabu-shabu:) eat until super duper full!!! Satisfying:P then jz went home cos she dun wanna watch action thriller... Then of course for the main point of the post is this: Unknown movie of the week!:)
Damn nice!:) firstly I really appreciate that this is one of the rare movies that is actually unpredictable unlike the rest of the cliche plots... It's abt this guy who calls himself Dr Martin Harris and is at Berlin for a sci tech summit( dun really know whats that something abt announcing new plant species) who got into an accident and loses some parts of his memory. After being in coma for 4 days, his wife couldnt recognize him and anything that can verify his identity is gone! Another man replaced him as Dr Martin Harris and he struggles to find his identity back with the female taxi driver who saved him and a bunch of ppl chasing after him to silence him... He finds out in the end that he was not Dr Martin Harris... This character didn't exist cos he is an assassin who collared this operation to kill the scientist that is going to announce his invention of a superplant with better yield or something like that and steal his invention to sell! What an unpredictable plot! I like!! ;) im gonna give it 4.5 /5 stars:)

I'm gonna go back SJC this coming tues!!! And results release tentatively on fri and payday on Monday!!!;):) excited!!!;) anxious!!! Can't express how I feel right now!

Happy moments and good things just dun last forever...
天下无不散的宴席...
I just went to the shabuya shabu-shabu restaurant in vivo. I was looking forward to eating it but the stupid chef actually went to change the entire recipe of everything on the menu! Damn super disappointed... Soup become so bland when it used to be sweet, fish paste taste more like fish ball now, garlic rice and the entire set downgraded by size and it's double the usual price! Omg! I guess we'll nv go back there again...
It's really ironic cos I said "it'll be weird to not eat shabu when we come to vivo" b4 I stepped in... They shouldve collected market research or opinions from customers b4 they randomly change the ENTIRE DAMN recipe! so angry and disappointed!

Another thing abt disppointment and good things end fast is how our frequent smsing stopped as soon as he's enlisted... Feels kinda weird not SMSing him but I'll live... Haha I mean I can't possibly sit around and wait for him to reply... I know he's busy in ns... Then he shouldn't have promised to talk to me! Evil lousy pork! Cheat my feelings... Nvm... I know this SMS-pal relationship wont last anyway... We're nv as comfortable talking to each other face-to-face as compared to SMSing each other... Time to wake up from the fantasy and move on with reality...

Looking at how skilled Arthur is at his job... But I still dun get why he trained harry's son in the first place if he knew he's gonna end up killing him if he attempts to kill him after he finds out the truth...

Busy week... Gor came into the company and worked with me... Along with his friend wei Zong... But in a flash of an eye, end of feb is coming and my second payday's coming! Yay! But results coming out soon too... Dunno should I be happy? Excited? Sad? Nervous? Such complicated feelings just welling up.....

Mian bao, vannie and moi!:)

yesterday i went to the movies with mian bao and vannie:) soo happy:)
we went to watch black swan after work...
i thought it is a artistic movie abt ballet but it is a psychotic thriller! OMG!
it's damn scary! but the plot's good though... how stress and the desire to become both the white and black swan completely destructed the life of this really talented and dedicated dancer... leading to her nervous breakdown and hallucinations... and died in the end to complete her "perfect" version of swan lake performance...
it's so funny to watch vanessa watch a movie! haha i sat beside her, thanks to mian bao using moi to be her shield from vanessa again! and i almost got my hand torn off throughout the whole movie! LOL as well as my face... and mian bao's face... haha not literally of course... it's b'cos vanessa screamed damn loud at the scary parts! It's so hysterical! haha plus her sitting position varies from sitting to sloping down to putting her legs on the seat infront! I was so distracted by how she watches the movie the entire time LOL:D Nevertheless, it was fun:)

the most impt thing is i watched with mian bao and vannie:)
it's been a long time since we went out like that... bunnychan still in Japan and seuu have CA today so she didn't come... incomplete whackies outing in the end...
it's too bad that i had to run off as long as the movie ended cos mummy's waiting...

Tonight's movie is 大世界 it's a great great world...
I must say this show is one in a million Singapore productions that actually has a high standard:) I really liked and prefered this one to 笑著回家homecoming... It really has meaning to it and they really did lots of research on this old amusement park! It's soooo cool to see a Singapore production that has 90% dialects! And all sorts of dialects! :) it amazes me that they actually made it so real, like we witness how it's really like in the 60s... Ratings: 4 stars!:)

Im super excited! And really thankful that she's finally giving me some space to breath... After 18 years...
YAY! And I owe all this to Sis actually:) cos since mummy's gonna fetch Sis from nus on every thurs and nus is so near vivo, she can fetch me from vivo along the way! I can't believe Im so smart to think of this 如意算盘 haha:D thank god the rest are fine with the date I chose(thurs) and vivo:) I knew that this plan gives me higher chances to go indefinitely:) but gotta lie to mummy that mian bao has free tix is kinda bad... But that's the other contributing factor that she allow me to go so no choice gotta lie to her once more...
Sorry mummy... I know I'm selfish in tat sense and it doesn't really gives me the right to lie but it's the only way that can set me free once in a while...

i've rejected the whackies' outings countless times that i bet they're alr tired of asking me anymore...
over the years, i've grown so sick of asking and started to feel that there's absolutely no point in asking anymore... cos the answer is ALWAYS NO!:(
It's not like i wanna be independent all of the sudden or anything...
i just want a little bit of freedom to meet my friends after work which is not very often wat! and now that everyone's working there's really no life at all... so why can't i jus meet them after work once in a while? :(
i'll still not go out on weekends and enjoy family days with her so what's the problem here?
and she's making sis so miserable always, which leads to sis always unhappy and crying to me to help when i can do absolutely nothing abt it! :( i mean sis is alr 21!!! for god's sake, she could've just run off and marry whoever guy she like and there's nothing legal that mummy can do to control her BUT she chose to stay by her side... doesn't that show that we're not going leave her? why is she still soooo paranoid and insecure???

i wish she could just loosen the grip a little... jus a little such that we can breathe in the small space that she locked us in ever since we're born... i know sis is in a worse state than me but one thing i'm sure is that both of us are suffocating...

i wish that she could put some faith in us...trust us jus a little bit more...that we can make our own decisions and our own mistakes and learn from it... and LIVE OUR LIVES! it's not like we're gonna kick her out of our lives as soon as she "frees" us...

But it's good that our house is so bustling on cny-- means good luck and harmony for the rest of the year! YAY! superstitions... haha:D

Well.... Today is an emo day...:(
Early in the morning, b4 the day even started, Sis and I got scolded by mummy like hell!!! :(:(:(
Guess this cny is not going to be a happy or lucky one...

I know why everytime both of us gets scolding, she always gets it more... Cos Sis is nothing like mummy, she may look like mummy more and I look like that person more but in terms of character, way of doing things, thinking, taste I do resemble mummy much more... That's why mummy usually doesn't have a prob with my way of doing things... Of course the obvious difference is I do things fast and mummy does it slowly... That's why Sis always have conflicts with her...

But that's what I fear the most!
Cos the more I resemble her, the more I may turn out to be like her, growing to talk like her, growing to be as overbearing as her, grow up to marry the wrong person, end up in divorce and it'll turn into a vicious cycle...
That's why I dun wan to marry until I find the right one. Or else, I'll nv ever marry or have kids I swear! If I'm gonna grow up to be like her and treats my kids the way she treats us, I think I'd better not have kids to torture them...

I find myself drifting away from ppl nowadays...
Somehow there's this firewall inbuilt in me... And it cannot be deleted just by going to the control panel and uninstall...
Like this inner barrier keeps pushing ppl away from me... Like because of my mum, I consciously or unconsciously push ppl away cos I know no one will be able to stand a friend that always misses outings..
Yet mummy always complain that when we have concert and stuff friends dun support so they not real friends but the fact is she didn't let us have the chance to bond with them thru outings on weekends and sleepovers and celebrations of events... So they're not as close to us than to their other friends Ma of course they're not willing to spend money to support us!
It just seems like ever since I started working, friends just dun exist anymore... Only left with colleagues... No life... Only a fair few bothers to talk to me like bei er, jz, Jodi, Vanessa... Maybe this happens to everyone but I just can't help it and just wanna complain abt it...
When Sis told me abt this feeling when she started working but I dun believe... Now I know... :(

A controversial movie... Most ppl won't buy the story I'm sure abt the whole afterlife thing... But the plot or more like the way the director portrays the angle of the issue is really cool... Plus the story abt the twin boys with one of them dead is soooo touching... Everyone's crying when Jason died and Marcus tried so hard to find a psychic to communicate with him... Quite a nice show I must say...

A restaurant that uses toilets as a theme in Sunway Pyramid, KL. Can you believe that the restaurant designs are exactly like toilets? COOL! All seats are toilet bowls with designs on it and all food are served in "toilet bowls"! who has the appetite to eat food in that man! LOLXD

Me and Selina:) How cute is she? Bet she's gonna be a heartbreaker in the future like her sisters... The moment I ask her to take photos, no matter take with her or ask her to take for us, she'll run to our side with a camera! CUTE:) Bet she's gonna grew up to be a photographer:)

We went ice-skating at Sunway Pyramid!:) Soooo fun! and i didn't even fall down once:)Even though I took like abt 1 hour to get used to the skates and finally can skate by myself... First time we ice-skate with po zai and hunny and they turn out to be pros... Cool!:)

Last day of the trip...Having alcohol-mini majiong party! HAHA:D Still can't believe that Ah xin ah yi let us drink the 300 over years red wine! Damn nice!:)

Okay first update: I'm sick, terribly sick... Haiz... Been coughing for two weeks plus now ever since b4 the Malaysia trip. Doctor says I have mild bronchitis... Haiz... Everything cannot eat, coughing throughout the night and couldn't breathe through my nose the entire night cos it's just sooooo blocked! It's making me crazy!!! Must be the bad air from Batam... Speaking of which batam is quite fun too when things are unbelievably cheap there and still in trend:) I'll post pics as soon as I finish Adnets accounts asap... Haiz...

Second update: I feel terribly lonely at work... Although ppl are all very nice to me in the office, and even the lady boss also treats me very well, it's just weird to hang around those temps who are the same age as me cos they all knew each other from JC... They're always playing and talking to their friends and i'm always just left out of the convo...
Im beginning to like the job alr though ive only conducted two trainings and days without trainings are plain boring... But it's still fun in my opinion... At least more fun than standing in a shop all day long waiting to scan someone's purchase...

okay, this is random.... my phone is getting more and more underutilized... cos other than smses to mummy to pick me up and daily fb updates and SMSes from him almost everyday, there's really nothing more i could do with my iPhone... But i still can't leave w/o it anymore... haha:D

Anyway, back to my usual style... Movie of the week: Season of the witch! Starring Nicholas Cage.. Kinda slightly disappointed cos Nicholas Cage doesn't have much to express in this character...Just the hero of the day which is just cliche... Nevertheless, I liked the plot and the action:) the plot abt a witch that started a plague and Nicholas Cage and his friend are supposed to bring her to this city to find this sacred book that can take away her powers... I loved the twist when she turned into the devil and it turns out that she's not a witch after all and she's been possessed by a devil that wants to destroy the sacred book that threatens his very existence... Okay la... still worth to watch... My only regret is that we were late! Again! and i missed the front part... Haiz...

Finally after two or three weeks of no movie night, today I get to watch a movie! Happy!!!;)
But after work I'm just so exhausted that I almost wanted to fall asleep...
Today's movie is the tourist;) b4 we watched I read the reviews that it's ok only... And sadly to say, it's true:( there's too much focus on the romance buildup between johnny depp and Angelina Jolie and too little action to call it a thriller or action movie... But since johnny depp is in the show, obviously there'll be some hilarious parts but surprisingly theres quite a lot of those funny scenes that it can almost be rated as a comedy le even though the plot's quite ok...

Anyway, today we got training for the training! Looking at how Imelda can do the presentation so easily makes me more stressed than ever! Trying very hard to make it sound engaging but I'm pretty sure it'll end up like Im reading from a script:( haiz.... Plus my presentation is next Monday and actual going to schools will be likely to be in these two weeks... Hope I can master the skill of speaking in front of ppl soon!
Gotta try anyways... Gambatte!!!

I'm back from batam!
It's sooo nice there! Makes me feel so in the holiday mood;)
Things there are unbelievably cheap!!! Hahahahaha:D cos the exchange rate is like 1 SGD to >6700 rupiah. Totally cool when you buy stuff there cos things there are in thousands and millions! Lol I can't even believe it when we counted the amount of money we spent in SGD for this much stuff! But cos of the time constraint and my picky taste and fat body, I only got a chanel sunglasses which is totally fake but since it's cheap I dun care la... While my grandma bought like N number of stuff like walletsX2, jeansX2, shirts for her beloved grandsons a.k.a. My cousins...:( I can understand that she feels obligated to buy some stuff for them since they dun really get the chance to go such places as often as us but my grandma just fails to realize that they go places that requires a PLANE more often than we do! It's not like they'll spend most of their time buying stuff for us or even grandma for that matter... Okay... Whatever... What frustrates me more is that my Sis gets to buy much more stuff than me cos she's ,of course, skinner than me and finds jeans and clothes much easier than me... Haiz... Gotta start losing weight:( I love their indonesian spa massage!!!:) it's totally relaxing that I kept falling asleep throughout:P but it's quite embarrassing la since we gotta strip almost entirely:P and the hotel room is sooooo big!!! Totally cool!:)

Anyway, I finally understood why we always feel soooo sad to leave KL but I can leave batam with no 不舍 at all... It's because we unconsciously treat annual KL trips as like trips to our second home... To meet our malaysian friends and share joy and laughter with them each Christmas:) whereas batam is just a holiday destination and nothing more... That's why we always feel sad and 不舍得 when we leave KL...

Anyway, Starting work Tmr... I'm so excited but scared at the same time... What if I can't live up to the expectations? What if I can't stand in front of the class of 40 to train the students? Am I wrong for the job? Argh!!!

I'm back!!!:) though going to go off to batam in another two days but I missed my Internet! Lol I can't believe how dependent I am on iPhone till I went to KL when I can't SMS, call, surf Internet and even just use the GPRS system to check routes!
The road there feels like time so fast but when we came back I feel that time passes so slowly... Shows how much I hate to leave KL. Every year I go there, I'll be so attached to my Malaysian friends in just a few days... Though we took at least one day to warm up and break the ice... Can't blame us really though... After all, we've not seen each other for a year, we'll take some time to start talking to each other again...
This time round, things have been getting awkward since ALL of them have bf or gf le... So when they bring their bf along when we go out, I'll feel weird talking to them so naturally we talked less this year... ESP Stella whose bf totally sticks to her 24/7 and syendy whose hands are glued to her phone smsing her bf... Plus Christine and candy who dont go out with us on most of the days at all... Kinda disappointed and sad cos the main reason that I loved to go KL is that I can meet up with them... It feels so empty and less fun compared to previous years that we can play around with each other and chat till dawn... The surprising thing though is that I can get along and interact more with Po zai more this time... Cos previous years I barely even see him around... He's really nice to talk to... but still I had fun going ice-skating and shopping with them nevertheless:)

Anyway, I'm sooo happy that we bought sooo much stuff this time! The retail therapy totally helped me to relax 100%! lol anyway, this year's loot is at least 50% more than last year which I'll upload the pics soon:)

Mummy has done it again! Every year at the end of our Malaysia trip on the last night there, our friends will ask us to go bowling together and every year mummy will never allow it! This year of course there's no exception.:( me and Sis totally wanna go and totally looking forward to it... Thats ok cos we're used to it but when I put on a long face, she forced me to smile and say no! That's the part I really hate the most! I love mummy for bringing us there and letting us spend her money without restrain but I really loathe it when she forced us to do stuff we do not want just to save her face! She just dun wanna let them know how dictatorial she is so she insist to say that we don't wanna go bowling with them on our own accord...

When I'm bored, the negativity in me sets in...
I keep thinking abt that night... The prom night...
I remembered how miniature I felt... How I was totally invisible on my last prom night... How it hurts my pride when no one, not a single soul that night, not even my girlfriends noticed me or said that I look nice... I know I look pretty normal that night and not at all different from my normal self due to the cheap hairstyling and make up... I dun expect anyone to say that I'm pretty cos even my mum won't say that but at the very least I expect someone to say I look different, I look nice just for that night...
But I just looked so pale in comparison to my girlfriends... Everyone's focused only on Lao da, bei er, Jodi and jz... And I'm like Harry potter in his invisibility cloak... Im pretty sure If I didn't go around snapping photos with as many ppl as I could, ppl may not even rmb or notice that I'm there that night... Somehow I regretted going... If I didn't go, I can save all this regret, Save Money of course... And save the embarrassment that I got by putting on a dress that I simply dun look nice in... I mean, who am I kidding? I'm not bei er or jia Zheng who looks nice in all those girly clothings... Or Lao da who has the assets to flaunt when she puts on a dress... Or Jodi who has the money to make herself look good... Haiz... What am I thinking?

Anyway, I'm super pissed off tonight... Here I am, trying so hard to make it on time for the movie at 9.20pm and my mum and Sis don't even care! It's sis's fault that we end up rushing anyway... She slowly changed after her performance and slowly strolled to meet us... Argh! But that's not what I'm pissed abt... Cos I know her slow speed of doing things is inherent in her so that part I can take... The part I was pissed abt is when i was rushing her to eat faster, she said, quote,"you continue saying that, 我会吃不下."!!!!! It's as if I enjoy rushing her! As if I'm not choking to death to eat faster! As if I enjoyed the meal any more than she did! I, too wanna enjoy the meal! I, too wanna savour the delicious food! But time wouldnt allow it! Argh!

Today's movie is tron legacy. I wanted to watch 3D cos I was expecting alot from the animation... But i was slightly disappointed... I dunno if it's the movie's problem or eng wah's 3D specs problem cos the 3D effects wasn't very impressive after all...
The plot is nice though... Abt how Kevin Flynn was trapped in the digital world by his own creation, Clue. And how Sam Flynn rescued Kora or something, an iso that can change the world... I dun really understand the part abt the iso and tron though... Abit chim... I shall go Malaysia and buy the book to read to understand it:P

Argh!!! Can someone just SMS me??? Like any random things... Lol jus kidding! But i do feel like I'm isolated from the world! Though i know it's only a matter of time I'll feel like that according to my Sis, life after A levels for her initially seems like another universe, and you're the only one in that universe, isolates from the world...

Haiz... Everybody's at work and the others dun even bother to contact me...
I'm so bored that I'm writing this post just to kill time... So to anyone who reads this post, pls dun treat my words too seriously...

Haiz... Why is it that it takes so long for everyone to reply me messages?
Isn't our phones for instant messaging? Messages to me are really not instant at all...
That's why I've always chosen to message him... He can always listen to my crap when I kill time and always reply me... He's always concerned about what i'm doing, which not many of my friends do... Eventually, I will end up messaging him more than anyone on my contact list in one day... Others who do not reply me just give me the idea of they're either ignoring my SMS, they simply doesn't care or they're busy... But I always tot the former is more possible...

To be honest, instead of thinking him as a crush is really not accurate, we're more like pen pals in my opinion now, like a close friend whom I can confide in anytime and knowing that he's listening, that someone's listening... And that gives me a peace of mind...

It's annoying that most of my friends are working alr...
And I can just rot at home and watch tv again and again... With no one to ask out.. Worse of all my mum will nv allow me to go out with guy friends... The truth is I didn't know holidays can be so boring... Especially with my mum grumbling that I've been going out too often...
It's ironic that I've always been dreaming of the days after As that I can rot and watch tv all day long without a second worrying abt work... But now it all seems so boring and I'm dying to find a job for Jan onwards... I've sent resume to IRAS to be temp clerical officer, a law firm to be temp account assistant and applied to be a relief teacher at sec school but I think it's not enough... I can't imagine the days in 2011 that everyone has a stable job alr and I'm still rotting at home... Then I'll nv be able to reach my goal of saving enough money for buying a MacBook for uni... Today's story is beyond drama so I'll shall cut short...
At 2nd grandauntie's granddaughter's full month anniversary today alot happened with all the crying, quarrreling even though it's a happy occasion... All in all their family has a weird awkward and tense relationship with their in-laws and i shall not comment further...

Today's show is the chronicles of narnia: the voyage of the dawn threader...
Much as similar to the previous two... Usual adventurous story.. I was a bit disappointed not being able to see Peter and Susan together with their brother and sister but still the storyline is supposed to be Like this so what can I do...
Nothing much to comment abt... Too lazy to write sypnosis le...

How ironic that whenever I tried to ignore him, he just pops back into my sight! Haiz... Just wish I can get rid of this habit of anticipating smses soon...

Prom night!

Dinner and dance 2010 aka prom has just ended... it was fun.:)
Or maybe it just ended for me.. Others continued to party...:(
As usual, ive been taken home like a small kid who went out past bedtime...
On the way home she still keep boasting to my friends how obedient I am... But it just shows that I'm a mummy girl and make me embarrassed in front of my friends...
She just dun understand anything... That time's changed and things werent as it were in the past... Though I know she has my best interest at heart, but it makes my life super boring and dull as she doesn't let us have any chance to grow up, make mistakes and learn our lessons...
she keeps grumbling that my hair and make up is so screwed up that's why I didn't stand out and look fantastically beautiful.
But the truth is, it doesn't matter at all...
Whatever makeup, nice dress, nice hair on anyone like me will not make me stand out... Cos the raw material itself (me) is already really ordinary... She should know that her daughter (me again!) has broad shoulders like a man, fat legs inherited from her, mediocre looks (even below average!) and is super not photogenic! So no matter what those make up artist do, it won't make me as glamourous as the others...
But why does she and ah Ma keep wanna rub it in? I can nv be as glamourous as those other girls! Haiz...

Anyway the food was Ok only... Quite boring actually... If it wasn't for the Endless photo shoots with friends, the food and the $65 we paid, i would have left a long time ago...

Since tonight's the last night of JC life, school life, I'm gonna just 豁出去了！This has been in my heart for two years le but I dun ever dare to admit to it... Because of my mum again of course! She's always forbidden us to have relationships in schools for both my Sis and I... It's like THE GOLDEN RULE! Even more seriously implemented than going out with friends till too late... but I gotta admit I've a crush in school but I'm quite sure it's just an infatuation... I've nv wanted to admit to it is not entirely bcos of my mum, but also that I know it's pointless to get into a relationship that doesn't last... I'm sure when he gets into NS and I got into uni, I'll stop thinking abt him and we will not be in contact anymore...
Phew! It feels so good "saying" it out!:) it was Because of seeing zhengyi tonight interlocking his hands with his girlfriend who happens to be zz's really good friend the entire night that I suddenly thought of this...I can nv imagine Zhengyi having a girlfriend cos he's always so in his own world and "heck care" attitude so I was starting to think that it's actually myself that I can't imagine having a boyfriend... Maybe I should not keep thinking abt these things... Haiz...

This entire week Ive been damn busy... Filled with activities with friends..
Last night I went to gabriel cheow's housewarming party with Sis until 11 plus... We had really a lot of fun! We might nv be able to gather together like that again... Not even during choir chalet next year... And OMG! I nv tot I could stay out so late b4!:):):)
I guess I'm so used to this restricted life that I'm just so surprised at her gradual release of control...
I know she's not unreasonable and I totally understand her concerns so I'm really happy that she has learnt to control us less nowadays...;) for some reason I really admire the way she brings us up cos I know I'll nv be able to do this to my child... The overprotective stance will melt off the moment they get angry with me or starts crying...

Anyway, today's movie is Skyline.
A show abt alien invasion and wiped out the entire planet in three days... Anyone that looks into the bright light will be sucked into the alien spaceship. And the aliens will extract the human brain to breed their own species... It's almost like these aliens need human brains to survive... The story revolves abt this couple (who I totally forgot their names le:P) and the girl is pregnant. They kept trying to run from the aliens but they didn't succeed. Eventually they got sucked into mothership... But due to some reason, the guy's brain did not work well for the alien.. I believe it was because he's been exposed to that bright light for so many times le but still manages to not be sucked in so he has learnt to control it... And the film ended with the alien with the guy's brain saving his girlfriend from the other aliens.... There's definitely a sequel to this show...
Can't say this film is bad but can't say it's good either...
The thriller part and the plot is actually quite good but the lack of details has exceeded the limits of cliffhanger... I can understand that some producers will try to leave a cliff-hanger at the end of the first part of a sequel e.g. Harry potter... But this film left us not only in suspense of the next film but also millions of questions such that I dun even understand where did the aliens come from, what are these aliens, what did they want, how did they do all those sucking in ppl just by exposing them to light, who's the mastermind/ leader of the aliens, how do they keep regenerating after other ppl try to blow them up over and over again etc...? So the huge no. of qn makes us question too many things that we can't actually focus on the good points of the show... That's why is like 5 out of 10 that kinda feeling...

Today I had a great day!
Swimming followed by movie then shopping with jz freely without mummy calling every hour to rush me home...
This is the kinda holiday Im talking abt! A real holiday without restrictions and curfews... This is the kind of holiday that I've dreamt abt!
Haha exaggerating alr...
But it's really a fun day:) plus I got to swim (I hadn't swam in ages!) so fun! I rmb swimming used to be my favourite sport, side-by-side with cycling:) these two are the only two sports I'm fairly good in. Haha:D and my favourite hobby: watching movie!!!
Today's movie is Rapunzel 3D!!!;)
It's really nice and totally hilarious!!! Rapunzel is voiced by Mandy Moore who sang really beautifully;) (I've always liked her voice btw!) in addition, Eugene who happened to be the "prince" for Rapunzel is super hot! Though I know it's animation only la but both characters are totally cute and adorable! The 3D effect makes me wanna pinch their faces!! Lol
They totally twisted the real fairy tale of Rapunzel la...
In the movie, Eugene, the male lead, is NOT a prince that passes by the tower and mesmerized by rapunzel's beautiful singing voice but he's a thief wanted by the authorities. But Rapunzel is still the princess who got stolen by a old woman (not a witch). The queen ate some sort of healing flower to heal her illness while she's pregnant with Rapunzel so Rapunzel was born with a golden, magical hair that work wonders... That old woman ( who I totally forgot her name, cos the whole time Rapunzel called her "mother" since she raised her up as her daughter) stole Rapunzel from the king and queen one night and raised her as her own daughter in a tower as she wanted to use rapunzel's power to make her young again... So all the years, Rapunzel believed her "mother's" lies abt how evil and merciless this world is and stayed in the tower , and every now and then the old woman will climb rapunzel's hair into the tower and asked Rapunzel to sing and help her restore her youth.. Until the day that Rapunzel turned 18th, she met Eugene who had a fake name called "Flynn Rider" and climbed into the tower to hide from the guards of the palace as he stole the princess's crown... She hid the crown in the tower and made a deal with eugene. Eugene was to guide her to see the lanterns that the king, queen and the ppl of the kingdom release into sky every year on rapunzel's birthday.(of course Rapunzel didnt know that la she just wanna see the outside world and the pretty lights she sees in the sky every year on her birthday night through the window of the tower). In exchange, Rapunzel will return Eugene the crown. ( which she doesn't that belonged to her actually, she's been brainwashed by the old hag for 18 years) then they went on a journey behind the old hag's back, who found out abt it eventually and sets up a trap to get Rapunzel back... The old hag made Eugene like a bad person who wanted to use Rapunzel and brought her back to the tower where Rapunzel suddenly rmb her past thanks to Eugene... She defied the old hag and was held prisoner. Eugene on the other hand was captured by the guards and ready to be hanged but thanks to the friends they made on the journey, he got out and went back to save Rapunzel.. When he reached the tower, the old hag let down rapunzel's hair and lured Eugene into the tower and stabbed him. Rapunzel in order to save Eugene, promised to leave with the old hag and nv leave her side and pleaded the old hag to let her heal Eugene. She allowed but at the moment that rapunzel's going to heal him, Eugene picked up a broken glass and cut off rapunzel's hair (according to the movie, that will destroy the magic of the hair and it will turn into brown colour) then the old hag fell down the tower and died in shock that she turned back into a old hag after the magic us broken... But then of course this is a fairytale, it'll have a happily ever after... Eugene was saved by rapunzel's magic tears (how typical of a fairytale to have magic tears suddenly pop out!:P) then they went back to the palace to acknowledge king and queen. Rapunzel became the princess and a brunette! And she married eugene. Happily ever after!:)

Haha long sypnosis today:P it's really cool!:) and sweet and hilarious!:) most of all, all the songs in the show is really nice!!!:):):) even the old hag sings well! Lol:D

Today is so boring as compared to yesterday's outing with vannie...
Yesterday I felt like We've nv talked in our days in SJC at all.. We talked from morning to night... Wow! I felt as if this is the first time meeting her... Maybe I was kinda reserved in the past... Yesterday I got to know more abt her and It felt good... Though the whole time we just wandered around and talked, I felt that yesterday's really fruitful and fun.... She's always been a really fun person to be with, ever so bubbly, I've always felt her presence soothing and entertaining, just like jz... I missed the days we spent together in SJC... The whackies (mian bao, froggy, wubbah, bunny)... They're the closest friends I had in SJC aside from Wen... Hope we can gather together soon...

Finally it's the end of my A levels exams;)
I was totally high and happy after the exam...
after that we went to Hougang to eat and I made the stupidest mistake I can make... Huge, humongous mistake that I made b4 and yet I forget to learn my lesson...
That is to go singing at Kbox with them..
I feel soooo bad that I turn down vannie to go with them and yet it turned out to be like this...
Today's not supposed to be like this... It should have ended on a happy note! And not like this, with me in misery...
The biggest mistake was that I forgot how humiliating it was to go sing at Kbox with them... In my excitement, I forgot the promise I made to myself the last time that I'll nv go Kbox with them again...
They've been really great friends for two years but when it comes to communicating, jz has always been blunt and tactless from day one... Even though I tot I know her style alr, but I'm still often hurt by her words which she blurts out unconsciously...
She nv knew how these words hurt me and I didn't point it out to her as im afraid to lose a good friend...
Like today, whenever I picked up the mike, she'll say,"Monica dun sing you always sing out of beat...etc" and after I stopped to sing, they started to persuade me to sing...
They've nv knew what's my dilemma when it comes to singing... I 自认that singing is my 强项 and I knew that I'm good at nothing other than singing.. And of course ive always knew my weakness is at rhythm... I always welcome comments that'll help my singing but I nv liked the way she criticizes my singing bluntly and directly asked me not to sing... I felt so hurt today that I didn't want to sing anymore so in the end I paid $20 for singing less than 10 songs in 2hours and a drink... What a waste of money...
Second biggest mistake is that I 不自量力 that I went Kbox with them even though I know I can't stay long...

I really dunno... Jz's words has always made me ponder a lot of deep-rooted questions that I've always avoided to answer...
Am I such a bad singer?
Am I such a proud/high ego person that ppl hated?
Do I always assumed that I was a good singer but the truth is my singing sucks? And there's no one to tell me that until jz says the truth tactlessly?
What happens when I lose my only strength (singing)?
What else am I good for in the world?

I fear the answers are those that I dun wanna hear... :'(
Im not blaming jz for all this but im just thinking maybe she's just speaking her mind and telling the truth... That she thinks I'm a bad singer and a hao Lian person which no one bothered to mention it to me...
I mean listening to jz, bei bei, and Jodi sing all the time, I honestly think they're much better singers than I am... And good friends always tell the truth right? I really can't tell which is the truth and which is jokes anymore..

Maybe today's $20 was worth it after all... That I finally know my place...

Movie night...

As usual, a movie brightens up my day/ night no matter how bad it was...

In the morning, I finally burst/exploded! I told grandma wat I really thinking for once... Of course not all of it but it's a good start... That I stop cooping stuff inside of me, like what I usually do...
She was all gloomy and sad over the money thing AGAIN for the past few days that Ive been at home all day..
Today she got worse!
I still can rmb the scene this morning that she laid on the sofa, tearing, saying," your mum took away my money and now she complains that I spent too much money and keep gambling away the money....haiya... So many days I gotta lie on the couch and rot all day, like waiting for death to come, and all my friends lost contact with me....". And that does it!
I finally couldnt take it any longer! With mummy and grandma grumbling away abt the money conflict years ago which I had no idea what really happened everyday, quarreling and fighting over it... As if all that wasn't enough to torture me! They fill me in with all the "truths" from their own viewpoint everyday and so many different versions... Who do they want me to believe? What do they want me to believe? I can't side anyone of them...

I love both of them and it hurts me sooooo much such that I can literally feel my heart throb when they fight with each other over this... When they throw awful and nasty remarks abt each other,(which I dun even wanna mention or recall it at all) it feels like these are all piercing thru me...
I hate it when they quarrel!!! I dun take sides cos I dunno the truth but it makes me feel more terrible and more guilty when I can't do anything to make their relationship better;(:(:( and today I was so sad to see grandma like that , that I cried too... But of course no one knew abt this cos I chose to reveal my real feelings in the toilet instead to infront of them...

Anyway, besides all these drama this morning, the rest of the day is pretty normal..
Studying at macs with Jia Zheng then going to catch a movie...
It's called:" the next three days"
We didn't anticipate to watch this movie in the first place cos it isn't a big hit... But
Today's movie is surprisingly good!

It's abt this ordinary family of three which led a normal life with the husband, John, a college teacher and wife, Lara, a (idk what's her occupation...) and son, Luke. Then one random morning,police barged into their home and arrested Lara for murder of her boss... And she was sentenced to lifetime imprisonment...
Three years later, no lawyers would file an appeal for Lara anymore for all the evidences are against her which made John become desperate and extreme in his attempts to save his wife... John believed in his wife wholeheartedly without even asking her if she really did it...
But of course she's innocent la... She's just damn unlucky to bump into the real killer and got blood stains on her jacket, damn unlucky to have a fight with her boss that morning that the murder happened, damn unlucky that the killer weapon rolled to the front of her car and she had to remove it to drive out so she got her fingerprints on it.. Ya so she's damn unlucky...
The point Is this pushed John to the limits and he decided to rescue his wife from jail.. And he start planning for the next three months... Until that day when Lara got the notice that she'll be moved to other prisons further away in three days time... Which made the next three days most crucial in getting Lara out... With the advice from an ex-convict that escapes from prison b4, John carried out his plans with a little hiccups along the way but in the end, of course they managed to get out of the country, though she's innocent, the family of three starts to lead a fugitive lifestyle...

Its really a cool show! It amazes me that how detailed John had taken everything into considerations, decoys for the cops, routes, money, timing, everything and even to minimize the casualties ( which happens to be zero!!! What kind of prison break doesn't involve casualities at all!!??) every step that the police takes is at least two steps behind them... And that allowed them to escape the jail that no one has ever broken out of alive...:) I'm sooo glad that we picked to watch this show:)

Looking back at my past posts... There's like 40% movie reviews/sypnosis, then 60% my sorrows and rarely happiness... Haha:D come to think of it, it must be boring to come to my blog, looking at the Amt of words I chunked for each post:P no wonder not many ppl read my
Blog... It's becoming my personal exclusive diary le:P somehow im glad that ppl around me dun see my blog... It makes my feeling less exposed to them... Consciously or unconsciously, i think I'm pushing ppl away from the real me;(

anyway tmr's gonna be a long and tiring day... Gotta sleep...zzzzzzzz... Holidays coming! COME ON ENJOY IT STOP THINKING ABT NEGATIVE STUFF!!!! Fighting!!!

Up to now, I've survived thru all A level papers except three papers... Chem p1, econs p2, phy p1...
But I couldn't care abt it anymore...
Today I watched HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS!!!;)
It's SUPER DUPER NICE! It's really nicer than all the other movies in the series... Ok that's really exaggerating... But it's really an excellent job by david Yates to illustrate the overloading information JK Rowling squeezed into one book... Or at least half the book cos it's only part 1. But this great job only makes me anticipate more for the second part... The effects for this one was really cool! I was soooo touched by numerous parts that I almost cried... ESP the first scene when Hermoine needs to confund her parents such that they forgot they even had a daughter to keep them safe and not let them know that she's going on a quest with Harry to find the horcruxes... :'( sooo sad when her pics disappeared from the frames... Also the part that hedwig died... But according to my Sis (who happened to be a no 1 HP fan), hedwig's death is supposed to occur in the crossfire when death eaters were randomly shooting curses and not as gloriously as what the movie depicted like it died to save Harry... Haha:D anyway it was touching... I think it's better this way.... The terrifying parts were also intensified also...
I almost jumped up from my chair when Harry went to Sirius Black's house, Dumbledore's spirit dashed towards Harry and friends... and when they went back to the town that Harry was born in, then the stupid pet snake of Voldermort turned into a old granny and almost killed Harry they all... All in all, it's really Nice!:):)
Anyway, after this show, I suddenly dun feel guilty abt not studying le:P haha:D

我跟姐从小就被她们夹在中间。手心是肉，手背也是肉啊！她们谁在说真话，谁在说假话，要我们怎么去判断呢？
从小到大都在吵同样的话题，她们吵不腻，我们也听腻了！
钱真是万物之邪恶的起源。钱不是身外物吗？为什么整天都在吵？
当年爸妈离婚也是为了钱，几年前舅舅跟mummy破产也因此为钱闹翻，到现在都因为钱而姐弟间有了疙瘩，现在阿嬷跟mummy天天为钱吵。我们又不是穷到没饭吃的地步，为什么要把家里的气氛搞到那么僵呢？我不了，我真的不了！我好想念以前家里和和气气，和了融融的样子！

Today is a day to remember... One that doesn't happen even once in a full moon...
My cousins stuck around with us all day.
we went to Grandauntie's house to see her newborn granddaughter
We went to play arcade together and watched a movie again!
That's really rare to go out with my cousins... We've distant from each other ever since we started to mature and went to different schools...
This whole day together made me realize how much I missed those days when we were young and always playing together...
Four of us used to be so close... It's nv gonna be like that ever again...
Now awkward silence filled the air most of the time... And the only common topic we have is games which im not so into, but my Sis, and the other two cousins are totally into it... I wish i'd cherished those times then...

Second movie of the week is a RED: which stands for retired and extremely dangerous! Lol it's a action-comedy starring Bruce Willis... 4 ex-CIA agents being hunted by some organization... Then they try to find out who's actually after them... The funniest part is when one of the main lead tied a super childish clock and explosives-look-alike onto his body and shouted: "AH~~~~~~~" and charge towards the bad guy and the bad guys immediately run right towards the opposite direction INTO THE CAR OF THE GOOD GUYS!!! LOL how stupid can bad guys be! I almost laughed off my chair when I saw that hahahahaha:D it really made my day:)

If only today is everyday! So fun! ESP when we played arcade! It's not everyday that mummy is overly generous with the expenditure for arcade...:P though it's not that she's always stingy with it just today's a little better than usual... She's always overly friendly when others are around...

Somehow I feel less guilty than last week to go for movies during A levels... Maybe I'm getting used to the guilt le... Haha:D

Forget the last emo post I posted...
Jus watched finish a damn cool movie: Unstoppable:)
Really very good thriller! I was actually feeling very sleepy b4 the show (cos I've been watching vampire diaries and we got married the entire afternoon, so nv take afternoon nap:P) but surprising I didn't fall asleep at all! It's really exciting throughout!:)
it's abt a train that was carrying lots of diesel oil and 8 tanks of extremely flammable molten phenol that went at full throttle(which means going damn fast) without unmanned!!! Stupid machuvanistic egoistic fat engineer who forgot to put on the air brakes and independent brakes b4 he hops off the train to switch the train tracks!!! He's soooo Babo(stupid!)!!! And it was up to 2 men, one was just-forced-by-company-to retire-early engineer who had been working there for 28 years and a newcomer conductor who have issues with his wife, to stop the truck!
It is really interesting!
Make me so much interested in physics haha:D ok I'm lying.., I'm quite sure that after As I'll not touch physics unless I really get into engineering or something...

Yay! I survived the first week of A levels!!!:)
Haha:D it flew by really quite fast and today's FRIDAY! daebak!!
This week's exams are ok la I'm quite happy with math but I can't say the same for chem p3...;(
It was a disaster cos I didnt do finish AGAIN! though better than prelims but I still didn't manage to complete all 4 qn again... Haiz...
GP... There was never a happy with GP since I nv actually predicted it right...
The thing abt math is that both pp standards are slightly below average... Which is supposedly to be a good thing but when I see how many ppl think that the pp are easy I start to panic... Ppl on online forum are all discussing how easy it was and uncle Jia hong (who said it's 100% that he'll get A) and other friends I surveyed are not making things any better... What if there are too many As this year and they shift the bell curve down? What if all those who can't get at least a 90 cannot get an A? All these are making panic as to think that all my efforts and happiness was for nothing! Haiz... I dunno... Jus gotta work harder for other pp to get A ba... Gotta convince myself to worry later..

It's just 4 days before As...
These two days I have not been studying at all... Absolutely nothing... Ive been watching a hongkong drama called 谈请说案... Really cool show its all abt physics and of course I've been fooling myself to think that watching this will help my A level phy which is just ridiculous... I know deep down that this has to stop but I can't seem to control myself even though I know I'm not helping myself by slacking now..
But strangely, these two days that I've been letting my Brain stop working and relax, memories of my two years in JC start to come back... It hit me that I'm actually leaving the school soon... Kinda sad... Rmbing the days I spent in this school and the Olomouc trip of course was the best memories! And miraculously I missed PW period... Haha kinda sadistic!
Feeling really guilty that I'm not studying... Even more guilty is that I've alr been thinking abt the end of As b4 it even started... Will this mark the beginning of my doom? I dunno...

Feeling guilty or not, I still went for movie today... Today's movie is Adele: the rise of the mummy. It's definitely not the usual mummy we know! The mummy in this show is no more scarier than the soft toys lying on my bed... Lol it's abt a journalist called Adele. And she has been finding ways to save her brain-dead twin sister who accidentally got a long pin through her head during a tennis match with her Sis. (can you imagine that?! A long pin through her head and yet survived with just a dead brain!?) anyway, after 5 years, Adele found a way to save her Sis and that is to find a highly skilled egyptian doctor of the Egyptian king to heal her. But there's one problem: he's a mummy! Lol then she found a professor to use some mind control thing to bring the mummy back to life. And he did succeed. First time was on a pterodactyl or some old dinosaur bird la which cause nationwide panic.( of course! Ppl will be scared when a dinosaur that went extinct millions of years ago start fluttering its wings around and eating up the sheeps and cows and goats around the city!) then the point is the professor succeded in bringing mummies back to life and Adele's Sis was saved and professor died as the pterodactyl died and they're linked... Most of all the mummies who came back to life went parading the city and finding their way back to Egypt! Lol seriously I think this is a comedy and the brain-dead Sis actually a hundred times scarier than those mummies! Second movie of The week: the incite mill, 7-day death game.
Absolutely horrifying show. At least the thought of it scares the hell out of me. A group of ten ppl who went for a part-time job that pays a lot like 1100 million per hour if I didn't rmb wrongly. And they were told that they're going to be lab rats of this psychological "experiment" which turned out to be a sickening reality show. There is only two rules. First is not to leave your room after 10pm or else the machine guard will "eliminate" you.(which happens to be just shooting the person to death) Second is when a crime happens, anyone who solves the case will be the detective and get double the pay, and same for the criminal (who will be imprisoned) and the dead victim (which is useless since he/she is dead!). Ppl start to die and suspicion and tension build up within the locked facility with a different weapon in each room... Deaths become more and more mysterious and gorey and viewership of the show grew to millions...
The sadistic part of the show came in at the back when the main lead realize that it was all for a show. Mysteries unravelled... The first murder that triggered fear and other ppl to kill for self-preservation was never a murder to begin with... The first victim was pulled into the show as he was desperate for money and getting killed or in any cases died in the show will entail a huge sum of money for his family. So he distorted truths about the ppl inside and build suspicion among the ten ppl and committed suicide on the first day. Others thought it was a murder and started to suspect each other. Kill or be killed. That triggered a series of murders and ta-da! Only left with the main lead and an old man whose son died in this "part-time job" six months back and a woman who was acting innocent throughout but she turned out to be working for the Foundation that made this show. She's just sick cos she facilitates the killing and pave the way for the killers to kill... Her job is to boost the viewership rate. How sadistic! If there's really such a show in japan, no one will dare to go for high-paying part-time jobs in japan le... :P

The thought that next week's the last week to study for A's is just as terrifying...
I weighed the amount of effort I put in for these two years and I found that there's really no hope of me getting the As everyone anticipated from me:( I know my own abilities but I fear that the history will repeat itself from O levels... Ppl expected me to top the level and get 7 or 8 points yet I disappointed all those who had faith in me and attained 9 points... I can't say that I'm entirely upset with that but I can't say I'm happy... Of course I know that it's impossible for me to get all As in A levels but I know they expect a lot from me... Just gotta pray that ill be able to focus this entire week and not think abt watching korean drama like we got married and vampire diaries.:P

Today 青声合唱团 had a performance outside toa payoh library and me and my Sis have a duet performance!!!

I feel sooo relieved after today's performance!!! Haha:D I guess it's because we didn't really practise much.:P
It felt like a ge Tai performance though it was a performance for the celebrations of the senior citizens organized by RadioFusion...
After today I'll finally realize how scary and stressful it must to be a celebrity as the nervous feeling when we're backstage waiting for our turn was totally not like the feeling when we're backstage with the choir... It was just two of us... What's worst was that we are wearing SHORT SKIRTS WITH BLACK STOCKINGS AND THREE INCH HEELS!!! I felt I was melting and gonna collapse under the spotlight.... Lol
But I'm kinda impressed with myself though haha:D

It feels like any other day... A normal, carefree day that is not two weeks b4 Alevels...
Today I went to do manicure and pedicure for next week's performance...
And watched a movie too, "the town"
A show abt how this Charlestown have sooo many bank robbery case such that bank robbery could even be passed down from generations to generations like some family business... The usual thriller tat we usually care more abt the action in between rather than the plot... Nothing much to say... Though the action is really cool...

The most important yet funny thing is that the moment the show ended I was back to reality, and I was thinking "Shit! Tmr's Monday" haiz... It's not every day that we get a break from the weekly choir practice but we definitely dun watch movies on Sundays so it feels kinda weird..,
Anyway, hope this week I can focus more on work but I know inside of me I'll be already hoping for the arrival of the next weekend... So that I can watch the vampire diaries, playful kiss again, and we got married on friday night...
This is just wrong right? For a person who's taking the A levels in two weeks time and it's not like im all set to get As alr... When am I going to start feeling the pressure????? AIGOO!

Perseverance is a quality Ive always lacked...
I knew from the start that I can't last till A levels de...
It's just two weeks more till A levels now and I'm beginning to feel entirely sick of the syllabus...
Everytime I tried to do more practices I feel a really strong retarding force pulling me back... Like subconsciously I'm telling myself:"this is my limit, no more..." that's why I've been trying to Study outside with friends so that I'll find the motivation when I see them do work...
But recently for some reason I feel all alone... Friends are always busy with consultations and I'm not... Maybe I'm slacking too much...

Playful kiss just ended its series... That made me feel even more lost than before... Haiz... No more kim hyun joong... I really gotta get over this unrealistic obsession soon... Aigoo!

A plain Saturday...

Today's a tiring day...
Early in the morning I went for breakfast with Jia Zheng and bei er, then I told them abt how suay I was last night with all that bursting of water pipes and getting locked outside my study room and had to knock the entire lock out...
Next I went for econs case study timed prac with my ever kiasu and mugger groupmates, kai yuan and shili...
Of course after that is the econs class which is utterly boring as usual... Can't help it it's just econs that's boring... I can nv understand why my Sis love it sooo much...
Then I went bugis street with my Sis and mum shopping for the entire afternoon... God! It was tiring and I almost fainted from the number of ppl squeezing in that narrow street... But of course Im happy that I bought a cardigan which looked almost like the one Baek Seung Jo wore in playful kiss!!!:):):) I also saw a jacket thats similar to the one Oh Ha ni wore in playful kiss!!! Though I didn't buy.. Nvm I'll be saving to go Korea soon!!!! I sooo wanna go Korea!!!
Anyway then there was the movie today which is Takers.
Entire show was around this group of professional bank robbers who in my opinion should be titled as "robbers with a conscience" lol
That's because they always plan a route such that no one gets hurt and they'll give 10% of the stolen money to charity. How cool is that!? What kind of robbers do that?!?! But good ppl always die early unfortunately... Their accomplice who got caught years back was released from his cell and he wanted to seek revenge and take alll the money for himself hence he staged a bank robbery that sets this group of ppl up and caused the death of all except two who in the end managed to stop him from succeeding that evil plot...
Ok la overall action:7.5/10, storyline: 4.5/10...

Aigoo! Playful kiss soooo nice ep 13-14 was sooo sweet but they cut so much scenes so as to squeeze alll two seasons into 16 episodes only...;( wish it'll nv end.,, when I saw oh ha ni and baek seung Jo kissed and hugged I'm soooooo damn envious cos I dun think this kinda romantic thing will nv happen to me sooo sad to realize that.:( but even worse; next week last two ep le!!!!!:(:(:(
Though one thing good Is I can finally focus on A level but I'll miss it soooo much... So disappointed that I didn't get to watch vampire diaries too... Anyway, FIGHTING MONICA!!! YOU CAN GET As AND YOU CAN GET INTO NUS AND JOIN CHOIR AND LEARN KOREAN SOON!!!:)

There's no such thing as a lost cause...
Just learnt that from the show "Charlie st cloud" today... Starring zac efron!!! He looks sooo hot but I still prefer my kim hyun joong!!! Lol:D
It's soooo touching... Abt Charlie who got into a car accident with his 11yr old brother, Sam, he was miraculously rescued and came back to life while his brother was lost forever... I cried sooo much when I saw that :'( Charlie took it upon himself for his brother's death and he defered his sailing scholarship to Stamford, as he found out he could see Sam's ghost after the accident and along with that, other ghosts too... He made a pact with Sam that they'll meet at sunset in the woods to practice baseball... Anyway, Charlie spent the next five years of his life mourning and working as a caretaker at the graveyard... Soooo sad... A young fresh graduate gave up his dream to sail cos of the accident... Main part of the show was five years later, his classmate, Tess who became a famous sailor whose going for a worldwide sailing competition a week later came back... And as usual all the romantic things happened then Charlie was told by The police that Tess has been missing for 3days after she went sailing to test her boat for the competition... So he's been romancing with a ghost! Lol:D anyway, He found out that tess's spirit has been hinting him to go save her so he did and finally he let go of his brother and both of them moved on...

I guess what this show must mean is that everything happens for a reason...
Charlie was brought back to life for a reason jus as everyone of us are here, doing something, achieving something for a reason...
I felt that this is really inspirational movie...

How I wish I can see things that way too... If I can convince myself that I'm also here for a reason, maybe I'll be feeling a lot better... Less lost... Less inferior... Less depressed... Abt my Life...

To all those who has overly-protective, overly paranoid and overly-sensitive beloved ones in your life who vents their pent-up feelings on you everyday: fret not! Cos we're on the same boat! :(:(:(

A levels coming...and I still have to put up with all these shit everyday, can't get a piece of mind even at home! Who can blame me to want to go out everyday to find some peace to study? I can't even tell my family how much pressure Im under cos I'm afraid I might trigger some time bomb and make the atmosphere at home even worse...

Like today when ms hazel preached soooo much abt how bad my class has been doing and how much we had to buck up to get our As in A levels... Then the worse is at the end... I still gotta listen to all those bullshit abt how I haven't thought abt which course to go in university and how jobs are hard to get now etc. from my uncle's family... Then looking at my current results which is not getting anywhere near to As... Pressure jus piled up in an instant...

I wanna CRY it all out or SING or WATCH A MOVIE which always make my bad mood better...
But somehow This time round I dun even feel like singing or watching a movie
Which is utterly wrong! I jus keep doing my work like nothing happened!
This is soooo not like me! I should be doing things to make myself feel better now!

It's less than 4 weeks b4 A levels...
And today I still watched a movie... Lol I guess the approaching of such an exam doesn't take much effect on my weekly routine..
Today I watched "the other guys"
It's a comedy thats hilarious but still lacks the laughing factor that can match up to rush hour 3... Haha:D
Anyway whilst I'm watching the show, I'm still thinking abt Playful kiss ep10 which I watched last night...
Is this addiction going so deep that it's so engrained in my life?
Haha been thinking abt wat the next ep is abt and I just CAN'T WAIT!!! ARGH!!! Will I be able to focus on my work this week whilst waiting for the next ep?
I probably end up can't resisting the temptation and rewatch most of the episodes b4 ep11 is out...
Even if I didn't do that, I'll probably still be digging up some other Korean dramas to watch since I'm sooo into k-pop recently...

Movie night!

This week's movie is WALL STREET: MONEY NEVER SLEEPS.
Erm...ok la... It's soooo econs...
Moral hazard, great depression, global financial crisis, financial system collapse, nationalization...
Half the time I was jus looking them babbling abt investment stuff...
Though quite interesting to see how wall street works:) and the show made me finally realise what nationalization is! (which is part of my econs notes that skip)
How ppl speculate in investments, how ppl spend their whole life investing, how ppl die from the collapse of their investments, gambling their lives, kinship, love away for profits, see how intense the competition is in the industry, how ppl sabotage each other to earn more profits, and the latter getting revenge, how ppl use false information to crush their opponents...
Complicated I must say...
But I do understand when the main lead say:
What defines insanity? It's when we do something over and over again but expecting different outcomes. If this is true, everyone will be deemed as insane...
How insightful...
I'll never put myself in such situations whereby I put my entire life at stake for money... It's pathetic. But what can I say? This IS the real world...

Home? Or hell?

People say that home is like a refuge where ppl have a peace of mind....

To me, home is like a prison cell where I feel inferior, restricted, being discriminated against and always at ppl's beck and call...
I HATE it when grandma compare us with our cousins... Abt the million things they can do that we can't...
From young, they've been feeding my inferiority complex by always saying
"you're so lazy."
"you're so irresponsible."
"you're so stupid and you cannot accomplish anything right."
"you dun know anything."
And the list go on...
So much so that I've always found troubles in interviews to sell my good points cos I dunno if I have any after hearing these for 18 years...
That's why I pushed away the chance to be a P of choir last year... Cos I feel so inferior that I have 0% confidence to do well...
Friends around me always say I'm fake that I say I'll do badly after every exam cos most of the time I do well or slightly above average... But I wasn't faking that I was NOT confident at all to pass these exams... Cos I'm so used to be not believing in myself at home that I can't bring myself to believe in others or myself outside...
Also, I've learnt over these years that I can't trust anyone since my own mum teaches us not to trust anyone and she trust no one including us... So who can blame me for not believing in myself?
When they're in good mood, things will be alright... We can joke around and play a fool...
But when they're in bad mood, things get nasty in the house, more bossing us around, more quarrels, more scolding, more nagging, curfews made earlier... Everything or punishments a parent/guardian would do when a kid has done something wrong but all these are in effect ALL OUR LIVES.....

So I say... Is this home?... Or living hell?

I can do all the things they can, but these things, only done by them, they'll have no complains...

We put our hearts and souls into preparing their birthday presents, but they dun even spend 1/100000 of a second or a dime on ours...

Jia Zheng lor... Introduce me to the Playful kiss (a.k.a Mischeivous kiss) which is actually itazura na kiss / 恶作剧之吻韩国版!!!

It's super funny and DAMN SWEET! just the the jap and Taiwan version:) in the korean version, Zhi shu is called baek seung Jo and Xiang Qing is oh ha ni ( sounds like 'honey' :D everytime he calls her! ) argh!!!! How??? Addicted to drama again! Though I have a good feeling about this prelims, I know I won't do well if I let this go on... But... BAEK SEUNG JO IS SOOOO CUTE!!!:) and OH HA NI IS EQUALLY CUTE!! they look sooo cute together! Totally envious! Such a compatible couple... Anyway just another great I recommend and it just adds on to my trillion and one top dramas that I'll potentially watch for a thousand time until I can memorise the lines!! Bwahahahahaha:D I feel soo good! And super high after watching this drama just for the first 5 episodes:P even my mum and Sis are starting to sick of me keep blabbering about how nice the show is haha:D but at least I have Jia Zheng to share this craziness!!! Prelims week...

Ok i know this blog is dead for like two or more weeks.. But I've been busy... With the Malaysian friends who came for a holiday last week just b4 my prelims and of course super busy with prelims... Yay! I'm halfway through prelims!:):):) just about two more weeks and I'll have a short break before the real battle begins... Anyway about Stella and syendy and Selina over at our place last week was about the most fun experience I had with them ever since we were kids... Though we meet every year I just dunno why this year's so different... Maybe it's bcos this time they're here! In Singapore! Not like every other year that we've been at their place in Malaysia... We had so much fun together at universal studio in sentosa, and also we brought them to science centre, bugis junction, this fashion at sing post, Singapore flyer and marina barrage... But of course the one at universal studio is THE most fun experience... Stella, syendy and selina became real close with us throughout this trip of theirs... We're playing overnight majiong (okay until 2am only but it was fun seeing syendy zha hu haha:D) and we were teasing Each other and I was busy being a paparazzi throughout that few days since they keep avoiding my cam ESP Stella and syendy...

Okay back to this week's movie: This week's movie is.... DEVIL! sounds evil right? Haha:D I know prelims is not over yet but it is just sooo tempting for me to relax after a week of exams... Especially that today I just had an econs case study exam despite the fact that today is Saturday that's right SATURDAY! who is that weirdo who wants to put an exam on sat???? Anyway, carrying on, Devil is about as the name has mentioned DEVIL! Five strangers stuck in a lift and one is the devil who tries to kill all of them... Why kill them? According to the show, the devil shows up when he/she chooses people he/she wants to punish for their evil/wrong doings... And sometimes it takes a form of human... These five strangers were all people who made mistakes in their lives, we have one mattress salesperson who came up with a fake insurance scheme and cheated ppl's money, a black temp security guard who has countless criminal records of assault, a pretty lady that goes around cheating rich man's money, a man who got into an accident 5years ago and hit-and-run and an old lady who is a pickpocket... The whole movie surrounds the scene that they were in the lift trapped and yet ppl keep getting hurt and killed mysteriously when there's a blackout... Suspicion grew Between These ppl and almost wanted to kill each other... Innocent ppl were killed cos they tried ti help and the devil kills anyone in it's path to punish the wrongdoers... Okay in the end, the old lady was the devil and only the guy who hit-and-run survived cos he repented and regretted his decision to run away that time so the devil can't take him...
A great thriller I must say. Lots of mystery, suspicions, screamings of course and blood! Haha:D I give it 3.5 stars:) cos the old lady really freaked me out!

I knew this would lighten up my day soo much:)

It's really cool! I'm so glad I could pluck up my courage to watch a movie behind mummy's back... Everytime I finished watching a movie I feel so happy and relaxed:) like no problems in the world can stress me out:) I knew I can count on movies to lighten my mood on this pathetic birthday;)
